Highlights of this cruise include:

Manaus
The capital of Brazil’s Amazonas state, Manaus is the gateway to the riches of the great Amazon Basin forest and the key trading city for goods coming downriver and those flowing up from the coast. It holds many reminders of its boom-and-bust history, including the lavish Opera House which attracted the stars of music and theater from Europe and America a hundred years ago. Here. Too, you can witness the Meeting of the Waters, where the black, jungle-stained Rio Negro flows alongside the mud-brown Solimoes until the two waters finally mix to join the Amazon.

Devils Island
Explore this historic site where a notorious past is overshadowed by the natural beauty of the present. Discover ocean-fed pools and floral gardens populated by sea turtles and colorful macaws. Stroll or picnic in the prison ruins where Papillon staged his daring escape.

Bridgetown
Bridgetown's British-influenced downtown sports its own Trafalgar Square. But the fine ivory beaches front a sea of luminous Caribbean blue and the countryside is green with sugarcane. A lovely excursion visits a restored plantation house and a quiet parish church.

Virgin Gorda
This favored anchorage of seasoned yachtsmen offers a natural wonder that's unique in all the Caribbean. Take a launch to "The Baths" where you will witness the unforgettable sight of giant sea-sculpted boulders and salt-water pools illuminated by the rays of the sun.

San Juan
From the magnificent harbor of this lush Caribbean isle, it's just a short walk to the historic streets of Old San Juan. Here you'll find fascinating museums, art galleries and Spanish colonial buildings at the foot of El Morro Fortress.

Ft Lauderdale
Smaller and less busy than nearby Miami, Fort Lauderdale offers easy access to hotels, highways and airports, which helps make getting to the ship more convenient.

Funchal
Basking in eternal springtime, Madeira welcomes you to flower-covered hillsides and vineyards of sweet grapes. Descend the steep streets of the Portuguese-style town in a traditional sleigh made of wicker. Then sip the local wine in a sidewalk cafe.

Lisbon
Linger in the Alfama district's medieval lanes. Stroll along broad Parisian-style boulevards. And browse in modern shopping districts. A jeep safari excursion takes you to nearby Sintra. It's well worth extending your stay with Seabourn's Lisbon hotel program featuring the Ritz Four Seasons.
